I'm not advocating winning 3rd basemen. Jason Isringhausen has been shut down for the season with career-threatening elbow tendinitis. I hate to see a cozy colleague catch to retire due to yard. Despite recent responsible dominance by the constant AL in the odd All-Star game and inter-league play, the clumsy NL won the World Series last year as well as in three of the past six seasons and two of the past four.
